hey the family
how is everyone doing???
well so this week was somewhat kind of crazy. haha. we were in Lyon for Monday and Tuesday, including our superbowl, porting and a zone meeting. so that was good.
Then we are teaching a young girl who is a members daughter. She is Nine years old now and so we get to teach her. we fixed a baptismal date with her for the 26th April. so that should be cool for her. its a little difficult to figure out whether she understands things but i think her mom tries to explain things better for her after the fact so thats good. they live a ways away so that takes care of wednesday. then tuesday we just worked and i dont remember what all we did haha!
then friday we worked and then went to Grenoble because Elder Weight needed to do a Baptismal Interview for our Zone Leaders. it went really well and they called us Saturday night after the baptism and told us that it went really well and he got up and said hi my name is erwen, and i'm a member of the church of jesus christ. so thats really cool. its the guy that, idk if you remember but a while ago i went on an exchange with elder murragara and we went to there house and had an AMAZING rendezvous so yeah.. really cool!
So then on saturday we worked it went ok... i guess, it rained and stuff so it was a little hard but yeah. then on Sunday we went to church and Agnes was there, shes doing really well still. umm and church was good. then there is um.... after church we went to the Ardeche because one of the People we normally visit was in the hospital. (shes like 90 years old) so we went and visited her, gave her the Sacrament, and gave her a blessing. She's a really nice lady and she always knits little coats for the like children in the ward etc... its really cool to see that even when she cant really come to church she is sooo strongly tied to her lord and savior. its great!
Well so today is Preparation day and well also transfer calls day so president called us and told elder weight he's going home and i am going to Geneva..... not at all expected.... so thats pretty crazy.... so i'll be in geneva for General Conference... its so crazy, nobody even thought that would ever happen but i'm excited to serve in geneva, but i really kind of wanted to stay.... oh well, the lord knows whats best... so sorry if you guys sent stuff to my address there because i said it would be better, umm i think from now on it will just be easier to send everything to the mission home... oh well.
